A Story Rooted in Uganda's Potential

Arise Consulting Uganda was founded in 2014 in the heart of Kampala by Grace Nakato, a certified executive coach who had spent years witnessing a critical gap: Uganda's professionals were talented, driven, and ambitious — but lacked structured support to reach their full potential.

What began as a small practice offering one-on-one coaching sessions in a modest Kololo office has grown into one of East Africa's most respected coaching and consulting firms, with a team of six certified coaches and a client portfolio spanning banking, telecommunications, government, NGOs, and private enterprise.

Our mission has never changed: to empower every Ugandan professional with the tools, mindset, and skills to achieve extraordinary results — for themselves, their teams, and their nation.

Lead Coach & Founder

An ICF-accredited executive coach with over 14 years of experience, Grace founded Arise in 2014 with a vision to transform Uganda's professional landscape. She specialises in executive presence, leadership transitions, and high-performance mindset coaching.

David Ssemakula

Corporate Training Specialist

David brings 11 years of organisational development experience from the banking and telecoms sectors. He designs and delivers bespoke corporate training programmes that align team performance with strategic business objectives.

Patience Aber

Communication Skills Coach

A former journalist and public speaking champion, Patience helps professionals conquer presentation anxiety and develop compelling communication styles. Her workshops are consistently rated among the most impactful in our portfolio.

Joseph Mugisha
